Haven explores the palm kernel as a place of shelter, passage and transformation. Inspired by the cyclical cosmology of the Dikenga dia Kongo, engraved kernels become vessels through which gold appears, disappears and re-emerges.

Haven is an evolving series, developed through the individual qualities of each palm kernel. Its natural variations guide the carving, engraving and placement of precious metal, making every piece unique and allowing the collection to grow through one-of-a-kind forms.
