Haven | Calyx Earrings

Carved from whole palm kernels, the Calyx Earrings reveal a hollowed inner form reminiscent of the protective structures found in plants. Their dark, organic surfaces are finely engraved with a repeating geometric pattern, following the natural curves and irregularities of each kernel.
A 1mm 18ct gold thread passes through the form, disappearing within the kernel before emerging again to create the earring fitting. Open and sculptural, the earrings bring together ideas of shelter, passage and transformation.
