Surfacing - Spirit Ring

The Spirit Ring explores the threshold between the visible and invisible worlds. Hand-carved from reclaimed palm nut, ingraved and inlaid with silver, it draws on the cycles of life in ancient Kongo cosmology. A geometric pattern emerges from the dark organic surface towards a gemstone centre, symbolising transformation, connection and the presence of spirit. A sculptural piece that brings together nature, culture and memory.
