Surfacing | Aperture Earrings

A new addition to the Aperture series, these earrings are hand-carved from reclaimed palm nut, preserving the natural irregularity and asymmetry of each kernel. Their engraved surfaces are opened at the centre and intersected by sculptural forms in recycled silver, where two-dimensional pattern rises into three-dimensional geometry.
Each pair is unique, shaped by the individual character of the palm nuts from which it is made. Moving between solid and void, organic and geometric, the Aperture Earrings explore transformation and the continual passage between nature and culture.
