Spirit II Ring

The spirit ring is inspired by the Kongo Cosmogram, a circular diagram representing the passage between visible and invisible worlds.

This ring began as a palm kernel. A material usually discarded as food waste in Congo.

Through carving, engraving and metalwork it becomes a sculptural object exploring surface, structure and emergence.
